YouTube API key

Searching YouTube needs a free key from Google Cloud. Pasting a YouTube link works without one.

  1. Open YouTube Data API v3 and click Enable. Create a project if it asks.
  2. Go to Credentials, then Create credentials → API key.
  3. Edit the key: under Website restrictions add , and under API restrictions pick YouTube Data API v3.

Saved only in this browser. About 100 searches a day are free.
